Annually, Central Wisconsin Cooperative offers the
Careers In Agriculture Scholarships. Participants must be graduating
Seniors in Central Wisconsin, enrolling in a two or four year
agriculture related curriculum next fall, supply general information
about themselves, explain why they are interested in a career in
agriculture and explain why they feel cooperatives are important.
Participants are scored on their scholastic achievement, leadership in
agriculture, written essay questions and perceived ability to contribute
to agriculture in the future.
The scholarship deadline is March 31st
of each year.

June 2009- Brett R. Gregorich and Samantha A. Weyer were recently
awarded scholarships from Central Wisconsin Cooperative as part of
the Cooperative's Careers in Agriculture Scholarship program.
Brett
R. Gregorich, son of Mark and Lori Greogorich, of Loyal High
School has been awarded the Careers in Agriculture Scholarship.
Greogorich plans to attend North Central Technical College to
receive his degree in Dairy Science. He has been involved in
many different programs in high school, including being Vice
President of Community Development and part of the FFA Farm Forum.
He has been on the Academic Honor Roll and is a member of the
National Honor Society.

Samantha A. Weyer, daughter or Mark and Nancy Weyer, of
Loyal High School has been awarded the Careers in Agriculture
Scholarship. Weyereplans to attend the University of
Wisconsin-River Falls majoring in Horticulture. She was
involved in FFA, NHS, Band, athletics and forensics. She also
has strong community involvement in Loyal.
